When we occupied the Brunei suite at SOAS last week he was booked in to speak in the occupied space. The school would not let people into the space however so I told Tariq he would have to speak in the JCr instead. He said absolutely not. He would only speak in the occupied space! I had visions of him climbing through the window like all the other people who had to. Unfortunately he didnt come in the end due to an overrunning of his previous interview-what a shame...

He is still one of the best orators. The natural reverb in that room complements his speech nicely.
