An interesting debate.
I had no idea there was a Miss University "Pagent" at Queen Mary. I'm the only SWP member there (who is locatable) and I'mm kicking myself that we didn't mobilize against it in some form as the whole thing is utterly sickening.
But well done with your campaign and the letter in SW.
I go to queen mary as well, and I think you really finished your own argument - no one publicised it, no had it forced on them, in fact the entire event was virtually unknown my the majority of students here
