Thank God for sanity! Personally, if my husband or partner hit me, I would simpy kill them because all the prophets I believe in, i.e. Jesus Christ and the Prophet Muhammed tell me that I should not allow someone to abuse me as we are all equal in the eyes of God. If we are meant to fall in love as human beings, personally I believe this means submitting to a partner, ie. loving one partner and meeting each other's needs and desires half way, not 3/4 way. If human beings, both men and women who in their sanctimoneous righteousness resort to violence instead of debate or discussion what is the point of getting a partner or a husband? Rather than divorce an abusive partner - who most likely will abuse someone else - if I was a victim of one blow, I would return that with a pick axe! Be warned!
