Protest outside Miss London 2009 ... beautiful people show that beauty is not skin deep
The title for the YouTube video just reinforces our point. i'm waiting for Elly's report-will post here soon. Well done to everyone who made a stand against the commodification and objectification of all our bodies.

That is hilarious. Click on the profile of the guy who posted it and you'll see comments like "Men in the West are worse off than women under Sharia law"!
Wow - how biased was that 'news' report?! And the same old slogans - ugly feminists versus normal girls. Strange that they pretty much eliminated any signs of the (very many) male protesters on this action...including the space hijackers... maybe it would have been too complicated to report on that?

Yes the news media has been very illuminating of the wider social problem. Did anyone see the winner was given an article in the independent? "I won a beauty contest, so what". Not very convincing.
